• Behavioral therapies: Cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy can help reduce your anxiety, so you can focus on other things besides your pain.
• Medical nutrition therapy: Working with experts from GI Nutrition Services who specialize in gastrointestinal disorders, we help you find foods that are less likely to upset your stomach.
• Medication: Avoiding medicines that can upset your stomach, including aspirin and ibuprofen, may help you feel better. You may also need medication to help relieve your symptoms, including antidepressants for anxiety.
• Pain management: Offering innovative approaches, experts at our GI Pain Clinic address the source of your pain. Your treatment may include medications, stress management or alternative therapies, such as acupuncture.
